  • Employers: Workers' reliability scores, job roles, and availability are shared with employers seeking candidates. Your phone number is only shared when you choose to connect with a specific employer.
  • Workers: Employers' business names and job details are visible to workers browsing opportunities.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services including Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and OpenAI (AI features). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HourlyLocal or others.

5. Your Privacy Controls

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account settings
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data through account settings or by contacting support

6. Worker Phone Number Privacy

We take phone number privacy seriously. Worker phone numbers are never shared with employers through search results or job applications. Your phone number is only disclosed when you explicitly choose to make direct contact with a specific employer, or when an employer sends you an SMS broadcast through the platform.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember your language preference, and analyze platform usage. The cookies we set include:

  • Session cookies: Required for authentication and security
  • Preference cookies: Store your language selection (EN/ES)
